1 · Who we are
walikweb is a sole proprietorship operated by Malik, based in Miami, Florida. You can reach us at walikweb@gmail.com or 786-955-4555. By engaging walikweb for any service, you agree to these terms.
2 · Scope of services
We provide website design and development, local SEO, and print/brand design. The exact scope for your project is whatever is described in our written proposal or quote. Anything outside that scope is a change order — additional time and cost agreed in writing before work starts.
3 · Project timelines & deposit
Most websites are live within 7 days of receiving deposit and content. Larger projects may take 2–3 weeks. Timelines start the day the deposit clears and we have everything needed (copy, photos, accounts, brand assets). A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work. Delays from your side (missing content, slow approvals) can push the timeline.
4 · Revision rounds
Two rounds of revisions are included on design and one round on copy/content. Additional rounds are billed at an hourly rate disclosed in your quote. We don't nickel-and-dime — small tweaks are always free.
5 · Payment terms
- 50% deposit at project kickoff
- 50% balance due upon launch (before code/files are transferred)
- Payment by Zelle, ACH, or major card (3% processing fee for cards)
- Invoices unpaid 14 days past due accrue 1.5% monthly interest
6 · Ownership & IP transfer
Full intellectual property — site code, design files, brand assets — transfers to you upon receipt of final payment. Until then, walikweb retains all rights to the work product. We may display the finished work in our portfolio and case studies unless you request otherwise in writing.
7 · Hosting & domain responsibilities
Domains and hosting are registered in your name and your account whenever possible — you own them. We can manage hosting on your behalf for a monthly fee disclosed in your quote. We are not responsible for downtime, data loss, or security issues stemming from third-party services (Vercel, Shopify, Google, registrars).
8 · Refund policy
The 50% deposit is non-refundable once work has started. Final payments are not refundable after launch. If we cancel a project before delivery, you receive a pro-rated refund based on completed work.
9 · Limitation of liability
walikweb's total liability for any claim is capped at the total fees paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, or business interruption.
10 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
